2010 RI CONVENTION IN MONTRÉAL
Celebrate 100 years of Rotary in Canada and indulge in ‘An International Experience’ at the 2010 Rotary
International Convention in Montreal. French and English are the official languages in the fully bilingual
city and are just two of the 80 different languages spoken throughout its neighbourhoods. As part of a country
that welcomes immigrants, many different cultures are represented by the citizens of Montreal. The city is the
largest Francophone city outside Paris and is the most bilingual metropolis in North America. Sophisticated yet
friendly, Montreal offers an ideal setting for the multi-ethnicity of Rotary. |
