District 9350 covers a large part of the Southern African sub-continent, incorporating the whole of Angola and Namibia, and the western part of the Republic of South Africa. It covers an area of 2.4 million square kilometres, reaching from the Angolan border in the north to the southern tip of Africa. |

| ROTARY CLUB BREEDE RIVER WINELANDS |

Breede River Winelands Rotary Club was chartered in November 2005, at one of the best attended dinners of all time in District 9350. Worcester Rotary Club had been trying for many decades to start a club in the Robertson area and has now succeeded. 170 people attended the dinner, some guests coming from Johannesburg, Windhoek, Knysna and even from Holland. |

research project began. On Wednesday, 11 October 2000, there
was just a list of a few Rotary clubs provided by RI staff
member, Joaquín Mejía. Within a few days
there was a page for each club telling where they were
located, when they met, maybe something about their communities.
Then the thought that perhaps their histories might be

Pretoria is named after the Voortrekker leader Andries Pretorius. This name is earmarked to change to the City of Tshwane. It is believed that Chief Tshwane had his home on the banks of the Apies River long before the Voortrekkers settled in the area.

Rotary District 9320 (Zone 10) occupies a large portion of the central area of Southern Africa. It covers some 250,000 sq km and includes:- the entire Free State Province, most of the Eastern Cape Province, the eastern part of the Northern Cape Province, the southern portion of the North West Province and the entire Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho.
